This position reports to

HSE Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) performance in your assigned area of responsibility to cultivate a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE. Each day, you will support the business by applying in-depth HSE knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring effective risk management through HSE excellence along the ABB value chain. The work model for the role is: On site #LI-Onsite Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role is contributing to the Electrifications Smart Building Factory in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. You will be mainly accountable for: • Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions. • Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks. • Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB. • Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices. Qualifications for the role

  • You have 2+ years of experience in the HSE area.
  • You have knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment management systems (ISO 14001, 45001, 50001, 9000).
  • You have knowledge of HSE legislation (NOMS STPS, SEMARNAT).
  • You have experience as a lead auditor and/or internal auditor for all these standards.
  • You can communicate easily in English at an intermediate level at least.
  • You have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience with MS Office, CAD, and data management software is a plus.
