Job Title: SHES Division Manager

Contract Duration: 36 Months

Location: Qatar (Onshore)

Work Hours: 10 hours/day

Work Schedule: 6 days/week (26 days/month)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SHES Division Manager to lead and oversee the CO2 Sequestration Project SHES & Safety Culture to ensure the highest safety standards and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SHES management within major EPC phase projects, particularly in brownfield environments, and demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, organize, plan, and execute the CO2 Sequestration Project SHES & Safety Culture , ensuring a zero-incident environment.

Implement an effective SHES surveillance program , including self-assessments and reviews, ensuring compliance and reporting outcomes to leadership.

Develop and deploy lessons learned and best practices , ensuring continuous improvement in SHES performance.

Coordinate and develop weekly, monthly, and annual SHES performance reports , tracking leading and lagging indicators to identify risks and corrective actions.

Lead or assign leadership for all incident investigations , ensuring timely and effective resolution, and providing leadership with proper analysis and reporting.

Participate in technical reviews , enhancing Subject Matter Expert (SME) content in project execution plans.

Coordinate with contractors, project teams, and operational personnel , ensuring all SHES project deliverables are met.

Provide SHES input to the PMT , offering functional guidance and expert advice on project execution challenges.

Maintain and foster effective SHES interfaces and working relationships with other PMTs, corporate SHES, and functional SHES teams.

Champion Company Safety, Health, and Environment policies , ensuring adherence and implementation across all project activities.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor of Science in SHES or related disciplines .

12+ years of experience as a SHES professional, including 5 years in a second-line management position .

Recent (within the last five years ) experience managing SHES on major EPC phase projects .

Extensive knowledge of brownfield environments and SHES best practices.

Excellent written and oral English skills .

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Engineering Programs, Lotus Notes, and process simulation software .

Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
