ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Monitoring and reporting any issue spotted related to IT/OT systems
- Provide level 1 proximity support on all IT related issues
- Contractor safe and efficient management
ACTIVITIES
The IT/OT engineer plays an important role in monitoring the IT/OT status of the windfarm, including SCADA systems, cybersecurity, IT support and all associated infrastructure in order to ensure continuous operations and monitoring.
The IT/OT is responsible for:
HSE
- Ensure the compliance of IT/OT related contractors working on site with the Employer guidelines on HSE.
- Report any HSE related abnormality, incidents or process deviation spotted while monitoring the systems.
- Ensure that all IT/OT equipment (servers, control systems, SCADA, communication devices, etc.) complies with local safety and environmental standards.
- Regularly interact with the HSE department to align IT/OT systems with broader HSE protocols and to stay updated on the latest regulations.
- Coordinate with the HSE department to ensure IT/OT systems properly support emergency response procedures.
IT system management
- User support: level 1 proximity support to assist support on workstations, applications, IT consumables, etc.
- Monitor and manage the troubleshooting of any IT issues happening on the windfarm with central support and/or subcontractors.
- Act as the main point of contact with Central IT team (TGITS)
- Coordinate the procurements of workstations, applications, IT consumables with TGITS and the procurement manager
- Responsible for the local support of network equipment used for business LAN in all local sites.
- In charge of spare parts management for IT, ensuring processes are put in place to have efficient management for spares
- Management of the network configuration (switching, routing)
- Responsible for the obsolescence follow-up process (including management & patching)
- Industrial WAN (wide area network) perimeter: liaise with central TTE team for the operations and flows requirements.
- Handle local actions as required on equipment.
OT system management
- Level 1 troubleshooting of the SCADA system
- Monitor and manage the troubleshooting of any OT issues happening on the windfarm (e.g. cabling work, optic fiber, racking, SCADA issues...).
- SCADA systems: Ensure the proper follow-up on the maintenance plan with relevant contractors.
- Coordinate the procurement and management of spare parts for SCADA system in coordination with the procurement manager
- Responsible for the obsolescence follow-up process (including management & patching)
- Industrial telecom: Ensure the proper follow up on the maintenance plan for CCTV, Radio systems, Bird monitoring system, and other subsystems.
Cybersecurity management
- Cybersecurity: local cybersecurity responsible. Main local contact in case of intrusion/defect detection on the windfarm network
- Cybersecurity: Coordinate with APAC REN L-iCSO.
Contractor management
- Act as the day-to-day contract manager for any contracts related to IT/OT scope.
- Act as the main point of contact between the project team and the contractors, insuring smooth communication regarding work progress, issues and requirements.
- Work with management and back office to define and review IT/OT strategy on a regular basis to ensure the employed IT/OT Strategy ensures the safe and efficient operation of the wind farm and maximizes value for the project.
- Ensure that the wind farm receives the contractual services as stipulated in the contracts.
- Support, provide input and advice to higher management on strategic contractual negotiations with the IT/OT contractor(s)
- Monitor and follow up on open claims towards the IT/OT contractor(s), i.e. warranty items, serial defects and any other contractual claims
Supporting the general activities in the operations of the wind farm as per the instructions of the Operations Manager or General Manager.

The IT/OT Engineer is an essential part of the Operations Management team and ensures the windfarm whole IT/OT systems' health, which is key to maintain a smooth operation of the windfarm.
The position will be based in Taipei, Taiwan and will include regular site visits to Budai and might include infrequent trips offshore. In addition, infrequent travel to the head office in Paris or other locations might be expected.

Candidate Profile
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Relevant degree in IT, Communication or Automation with at least 5-year experience managing a complex IT and/or OT system.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA architecture mandatory.
- Experience on Offshore Wind related SCADA system is a strong plus.
- Experience managing several contractors is a plus.
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands

- Good Presentation / interpersonal skills
- Flexible mindset, able to work outside comfort zone.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin languages.
