Job Summary:

Our OSS Graduate Engineers are our future technical leaders and managers. The programme , for OSS Graduates Engineers, provide s opportunities for our candidates to develop skills and p roduct knowledge, including leadership, customer interaction and the delivery of all aspects of the Engineering scope of supply to meet our high internal standards . Our OSS Graduate Engineers can also work towards professional membership with a recognised professional body . At the end of the 18-month graduate programme , our engineers can use our well-established career ladders and development programmes , to further enhance their progression through the organisation . Our 18-month development programme is split into 3 modules. After an initial period of onboarding, our Graduate Engineers will embark on two 6-month rotations across different Engineering Business Lines. Following this, 3 months will be spent at a manufacturing location, potentially one of our overseas facilities, before a final 3-month cross functional rotation in either Project Management or Sales and Tendering.

B ased at o ur modern office s on the outskirts of Leeds , you will learn the business from the ground up to become a skilled and confident specialist in the sector. We offer a hybrid working pattern allowing you to benefit from working in the office and the flexibility of some time working from home. During the initial training period you will be required to be in the office for the majority of your working week.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

During the training programme your principal accountabilities will include:

Prepar ing engineering documentation which meet relevant industry and client standards to enable the manufacturing group and other departments to produce and market the Company's product (s) .

Carry ing out design and development work under the guidance of experienced e ngineers to meet customers' and/or the industry's needs.

Work ing within stated procedures to ensure that design records/controls are maintained .

Developing in depth knowledge of our company products, design principles, manufacturing techniques, economic and safe design.

Participat ing in Value Engineering/Analysis initiatives.

Qualification/Entry Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (other closely related degrees considered) .

• Be globally mobile.

• The desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business on high value, technically complex products/projects.

• The right to work in the UK.
