PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design tooling and equipment for assembly and testing of our products
- Assist in commissioning or upgrading equipment to the latest standards
- Create tooling and equipment drawing packages using SolidWorks
- Manage projects for creating new processes and equipment design as needed
- Be proactive at solving problems and learning new techniques to increase production safety and efficiency
- Support day-to-day manufacturing activities
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in manufacturing environments
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit at a computer; use hands to type or key, use a mouse, or feel; talk, and hear.
- The employee is frequently required to walk; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes and noise.
- Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computers.
- Walking throughout the day up to eight (8) hours.
- Bending/Stooping repetitively throughout the day.
- Push/Pull up repetitively throughout the day.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite programs, particularly Excel,
- 2D & 3D drafting programs, i.e. AutoCAD, SolidWorks
- Basic to knowledge of PLC programming/ladder logic
- Basic electrical knowledge with familiarity with common components such as PLCs, Relays, VFDs
- Basic engineering knowledge of such things as P& ID schematics, electrical schematics, time studies, process flows, scope of works, and OSHA Safety Standards
