ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide technical assistance to strategic suppliers and production departments to reduce lead times and costs.
- Assist with commodity strategies that support the desired profitability, level of quality, and cycle time of various product lines that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Develop tools and processes to improve materials flow throughout the entire supply chain.
- Streamline processes and material flow to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Contribute to cost reduction efforts internally and externally by actively seeking and implementing opportunities for reduced costs.
- Generate routers and build process drawings for manufacturing, tooling and design raw material and/or process drawings for the design-engineering group.
- Assist in determining supplier capabilities and sourcing for new products.
- Provide technical support to Manufacturing shop as needed.
- Maintain and increase knowledge of changes in technology that may improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Alone or as part of a collaborative effort, create leaner, more efficient and more profitable business practices.
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements.
- Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process.
- Develop and maintain relevant work instructions.
- Analyze costs associated with production and processes.
- Monitor manufacturing operations to assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
- Provide technical and hands-on support to manufacturing shop as needed.
- Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
- Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
- All other reasonable tasks assigned with the goal of helping the team, operations, or the facility overall.

- Remain open to feedback and collaboration with other departments and business units

EDUCTATIONAL & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or in a related engineering discipline
- 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings with a strong attention to detail.
