JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary.

Operate and maintain NOV equipment in offshore and onshore locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work onboard various rigs ensuring all personnel follow safe working procedures and practices, operate and maintain NOV WSS equipment onboard to obtain safe and efficient operations
• Timely maintenance of equipment to avert downtime, use rig permit to work system and TBRA's to ensure no LTI's during operations.
• Conduct daily meetings with the client and drilling contractor, ensuring a good working relationship.
• Complete rig surveys for installation of new fluid control equipment and modifications to existing installations on various rigs.
• Supervise installation of new fluid control equipment while working with the client and third party contractors.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations.
• Timely submission of daily reports, maintenance reports and EOWR.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

Essential:

• Secondary level educational certificate
• Previous offshore experience
• Willing to work on rotational shifts
• Willingness to adapt and learn on a continuous improvement basis
• Hands on to improve a process
• Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Willingness to learn anything that will benefit the company to achieve its goal

Desirable:

• BEng Engineering Or BSC in Sciences
• 1-5 years' minimum industrial experience
• Knowledge of NOV equipment
