Position: Mechanical Supervisor
Role Overview:
Supervise the Asset Mechanical team to ensure the safe and efficient execution of corrective and preventive maintenance, installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Ensure reliability and availability of company assets by adhering to established schedules, procedures, and safety regulations.
Interview Details:
Face-to-face interviews will be held in Istanbul during the second week of May.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall supervision of mechanical maintenance activities within assigned company facilities.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) procedures, permit-to-work protocols, Life-Saving Rules (LSRs), and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks for maintenance teams, ensuring all safety measures outlined in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) are followed before work begins. Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and near misses in line with company reporting procedures.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of critical equipment during breakdowns, compile field data for analysis, investigate failures, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support periodic quality audits, fill quality checklists, and provide field guidance to technicians in resolving complex mechanical issues.
- Review work notifications, execution plans, and work orders to ensure Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) compliance, recording accurate maintenance history in SAP/CMMS systems.
- Monitor and achieve discipline-specific KPIs, contributing to the overall asset performance targets.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders for seamless execution of maintenance activities.
- Ensure all necessary tools and test equipment are available for field teams to execute daily tasks efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or relevant specialization.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry with strong knowledge of maintenance tools, including SAP.
