Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualifications and/or execution experience.

Knowledge and/or Experience:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector, primarily in construction, with a focus on subsea pipelines and offshore brownfield activities.
• Extensive field experience in offshore installation, subsea pipeline, cable repair projects, engineering, and operations, with at least 10 years in a supervisory role overseeing offshore project execution, pipeline repair, and hookup activities.
• Experience using subsea construction equipment for pipeline and sleeper damage repair.
• Experience in reviewing subsea lifting plans, engineering work packs, method statements, lifting plans, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and ensuring project requirements and risk assessment recommendations are adhered to.
• Offshore survey experience, including working with diving vessels and marine lifting activities. Strong knowledge of marine engineering deliverables.
• Experience managing contractors as the representative of the company.
• Involvement in and experience with EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) pipeline projects.

Technical and Business Skills:

• Strong technical expertise in subsea pipeline construction.
• Comprehensive understanding of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards as they relate to the oil and gas industry and environment.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English, with creativity, problem-solving, and coordination abilities, along with attention to detail.
• High degree of flexibility and conceptual thinking skills.
• Ability to foresee and resolve issues by providing guidance to the site team for safe installation.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and interface management skills.
• Good negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
