As a Research Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development efforts in the field of energy and sustainability. Your responsibilities will include conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting in the development of innovative solutions. You will work closely with our team of scientists and engineers to contribute to the advancement of sustainable technologies. You will report directly to our Research Scientist and you'll work out of our Buffalo, NY location. In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge technologies and solutions that address the world's most critical energy and sustainability challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct experiments and collect data
  • Analyze data and assist in the interpretation of results
  • Support the development of innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to research projects

The annual base salary for this position is: $39.22 hourly. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in a Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in conducting experiments and collecting data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

WE VALUE
  • Experience in the field of Organic Synthesis, Electrochemistry or Electronic Circuits
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
  • Laboratory Observations and Record-Keeping experience
