Key Responsibilities:
- Validate customer request. Review inputs, ensure scope clarity, and map customer expectations in actual deliverables.
- Collaborate with customer and field technicians
- Converse and communicate with the customers' representatives for project initiations, RFIs & project close-out.
- Ensure quality & specification compliance of deliverables for projects.
- Act as technical interface to customers to ensure that projects are executed within agreed schedule and budget to meet the customer requirements.
- Identify possible improvement opportunities in processes and standards.
- Build rapport with other cross-function teams ensuring smooth execution of projects.
Understand, prepare and/or propose
- Sequence of Operations
- Control wiring diagrams
- DDC Applications for HVAC equipment (AHU, VAV, FCU, Chilled Water Systems, Hot Water Systems etc.)
- Control System SCADA/Graphics
- Control System Field Commissioning and deployment
- Control System functional performance testing
- Fire Alarm Risers, battery calculations
- Design Access control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, PAVA,
- Field devices selection for building automation, safety & security systems
Must Have:
- High School Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/ Mechanical/ Refrigeration or equivalent education and experience.
- 3-4 years of experience working with controls systems, fire alarm systems and security systems with knowledge of operating and maintaining or commissioning and installation of such systems
- Strong communications skills both written and verbal to be able to compile and complete application engineering documentation and build strong customer relationships
- Ability to understand and prioritize customer needs, building strong, trusting relationships that enhance customer satisfaction.
- A proactive approach to identifying issues and challenges, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in developing solutions.
- Ability to navigate discussions with customers and internal teams to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
We value:
- ASHRAE, NICET or ASIS certification or equivalent industry certification
- Proficiency on Tools: AutoCAD (Basic), Microsoft Visio will be an added advantage.
- Experience in protocols such as BACnet, LON and Modbus etc.
- A good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments, building codes and compliances
