Structural Surveyor – Based Italy –  Duration: Approx. 3 year

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Offshore Wind EPC business who will be involved in the fabrication of an offshore HVDC station at fabrication yard in Northeast Italy.

We require x 2 Structural Surveyors for long term contract position to oversee structural steel & welding elements of project work scope.

We can only consider candidate with relevant right to work in EU region.

Supervision Activities/Scope of work

· To verify correct application of Project agreed procedures
· Supervision of correct application of welding requirements (Weld parameters, WPS,
preheating, etc.)
· To verify design drawings and construction drawings in fabrication
· To verify fabrications compliance as requested in different ITPs
· To prepare and coordinate a weekly inspections planning (H, W, M)
· To monitor and cross NDT inspections performed (VI, UT, MPI, etc.)
· To audit fabrication and quality process if requested
· To report all weekly progress in quality, also to check progress provided by
Subcontractor.
· Confirm documentation / work done prior to attend notified inspection
· To verify the qualification of welders and their correct use.
