NES Fircroft are working with a client who are preparing a team of people to supervise subcontracted work at a Shipyard in Italy where they are constructing and fabricating parts for an offshore wind project. We are looking for Coating Inspectors to work in a fabrication yard based in North East Italy ( Monfalcone ) for a 3 year contract to help support the fabrication of a topside for an offshore wind farm substation. 

As this is a 3 year contract, this role would be ideal for local Italian nationals, or EU nationals who are looking to relocate for the duration of the contract - accomodation allowance will be billed in to your day rate. 

Start Date: 21st April 2025

Responsibilities:
- Supervise the correct application of coating system
- Survey of compliance to verified design drawings and construction drawings
- Supervise the protection inspections made
- Follow up and close of non conformance reports and inspection finding reports
- Audit external subcontractors 

Requirements:
- FROSIO Level III (3), NACE 3 or similar
- Good English communication skills
