NES Fircroft are currently seeking a Mechanical Completion Surveyor to join our clients team in the North East of Italy on a 3 year contract. The successful candidate will be involved in a project surrounding the fabrication of the topside and structure of an offshore HVDC substation.

Responsibilities:

• Collect all the information generated as a consequence of the inspections
• Certify all requested information / documentation has been accepted by the inspectors of all parties on site (Client, Certifier, and Subcontractor)
• Ensure that Fabrication Record Book (FRB) is developed during the execution of the works and accepted of this by the parties located there
• Ensure compliance of the documentation in time and quality
• Upload the required documentation to the documentation control platforms 
• Coordinate / compile the documentation that generates any claims issued.
• Upload to DALUX (or others), the faults generated during the inspections.
• Verify correct application of Project agreed procedures
• Verify documental compliance as requested in different ITPs
• Audit fabrication and quality process if requested
• Report all weekly progress in quality, also to check progress provided by Subcontractor.
• Confirm documentation / work done prior to attend notified inspection  

Requirements: 

• Minimum 5 years experience in Visual Inspection 
• Qualification Level II as per DIN EN 9712 or similar
• Good communication skills 
• EU Passport Required
