Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
- Lead high-profile projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and project objectives.
- Define project scopes, establish design criteria, and oversee quality control across all phases.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution and technical excellence.
- Provide expert oversight on technical documentation, specifications, and electrical building systems.
- Establish and enforce sector-specific design standards, driving best practices and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a key technical advisor, resolving complex design challenges and ensuring code compliance.
- Mentor, coach, and develop a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
- Lead recruitment efforts to strengthen technical expertise and align with organizational values.
- Assign and oversee project work, ensuring design integrity, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted partner to clients, ensuring effective communication and project success.
- Address and resolve stakeholder concerns, building lasting relationships and delivering value.
- Leverage industry reputation to attract and secure new business opportunities.
- Contribute to proposal development, client presentations, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Drive innovation through thought leadership, research, and industry engagement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in engineering design, with leadership experience in large-scale projects.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or equivalent certification.
- Deep expertise in electrical engineering principles, building systems, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in engineering design software and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to mentor teams, manage budgets, and drive project success.
- Experience in business development, client engagement, and contract negotiation.
