Role Overview 
As a Project Procurement Coordinator, you will oversee procurement activities within projects, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and ethical standards. You will be a key member of the project team, managing all procurement-related aspects—including purchasing, expediting, inspection, and logistics—to align with project requirements. Leading a team of buyers, expeditors, and logistics specialists, you will drive procurement strategies and execution.
From project initiation, you will develop a Project Procurement Plan and serve as the primary contact for procurement matters. You will collaborate with the Legal Department to establish project-specific terms and conditions when necessary. Throughout the project lifecycle, your role includes negotiating and securing favorable agreements with suppliers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and issuing Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and evaluating bids in collaboration with the project team.
• Conducting commercial bid evaluations, compiling bid tabulations, and facilitating pre-award meetings with suppliers.
• Organizing approval meetings and finalizing purchase orders.
• Managing supplier performance, addressing commercial and logistical challenges, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Coordinating supplier visits for commissioning, repairs, and warranty-related activities.
• Preparing procurement close-out reports and conducting supplier debriefing sessions when necessary.

Who We’re Looking ForWe seek a proactive and persuasive professional with strong negotiation, planning, and communication skills. To excel in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial discipline.
• 7 years of commercial experience in the oil & gas industry.
• A background in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS and LOGIC terms & conditions.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a benefit, not a requirement
• The ability to analyze complex challenges, maintain a strategic perspective, and understand customer requirements in a broader business context.
