As a Test Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of testing activities and the delivery of high-quality products. You will work within the Building Automation (BA) business unit, which is a leading global provider of products, software, solutions, and technologies that enable building owners and occupants to ensure their facilities are safe, energy efficient, sustainable, and productive.

You will report directly to our Test Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Lugoj location. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that all necessary tests are conducted to validate product performance and reliability. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in conducting tests and analyzing results, ensuring that all testing activities are carried out accurately and efficiently

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans
• Offer guidance in conducting tests and analyzing results, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of all testing activities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing procedures and overall efficiency
• Oversee preventive maintenance and implement improvements to equipment, taking corrective action in the event of failures
• Manage documentation related to performance tracking, monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, including key indicators like First Pass and Break Down

Key skills and qualifications:

• Proficient in test methodologies and tools, with a robust understanding of best practices for ensuring quality assurance in software development.
• Intermediate expertise in electronics and programming, specializing in debugging software tools such as CVI, Test Stand, LabVIEW, and C

• Graduate technical studies in electronics and telecommunications, automation, and computer science

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in test engineering or a similar role

• Strong knowledge of test methodologies and tools

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Proficient in English and Data analytics tools such as (Excel, PowerPoint), SAP is desirable
