Engineering JOB PURPOSE:
E x ecute scientific and technological aspects of the geometric dimensioning of Engineering information . Support the development decisions , conceptual designing , engineering studies and i nter-projects decisions by maintaining all designs in one updated data storage . Safeguard and control GIS data to ensure client/third party compliance with ADNOC Onshore standards. Ensure the data which are imported in ADNOC Onshore Corporate maps are updated.

Safeguard and control GIS data to ensure client/third party compliance with ADNOC Onshore standards. Ensure the data which are imported in ADNOC Onshore Corporate maps are updated.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Administers loading and validation of all data classes for Engineering domain in to the Corporate database in line with ADNOC Onshore Engineering Standards , data loading workflow and validation procedures while assuring data completeness .
- Upholds Engineering & Project library that includes maps and related information and ensure quality , consistency and standards of the same .
- Liaises with discipline engineers and provides input on survey data related to GIS .
- Updates reserved plots and project areas on parallel to the design modification .
- Provides support in facility-siting analysis and earth works when required .
- Liaises with Concept , FEED and EPC contractors and ensure GIS requirements are well understood and complied with by Contractor .
- Gathers As - built data for off-plot facilities during construction or immediately after projects implementation .
- Structures GIS data (old and new ) as per ADNOC Onshore ' s requirements and standards .
- Working on developing a GIS Content Management System Standard to enrich spatial and non spatial information in Engineering and project.
- Validate NOC spatial location are chec k ed against the GIS data ( proposed projects and as-built ) to ease any clashes and prevent damages to e x isting facilities .

- Plan , supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet funct i onal objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
- Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
- Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
- Implement approved Department/ Section policies , processes , systems , standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section ' s work programs in line with Company and International standards.
- Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.
- Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department/ Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function .
- Comply with the ADNOC Onshore/ ADNOC HSE procedure requirements
- Report all incident and occupational illness to line supervisor.
- If aware of any unsafe practice or condition , or if in any doubt about the safety of any situation , immediately consult their Line supervisor.
- Carryout the emergency responsibilities in line with the respective roles as per the emergency organization .
- Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal
- Frequent contact with Senior Engineer (GIS).
- Frequent contacts with Project teams to exchange information and participate in data modeling exercises .
- Regular contact with assets , direct reports and peers
- Frequent contact with service providers Nendors/Contractors to maintain business relationships with key technology providers .
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor degree in GIS in Oil and Gas Domain
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 4 years ' experience in similar position within the oil & gas industry.
