Wood is recruiting for an Integrity Engineer (Local National) to join its Iraq Business Unit on 5 days on 2 days off rotation to be involved in day to day operations support for integrity management of pressure equipment.
This role is onsite in Basra, Iraq with Travel Requirement.

Key Objectives

• The Integrity Engineer would work in the ST Department and would be involved in day to day operations support for integrity management of pressure equipment . The engineer would be primarily focused on static equipment such as piping, pressure vessels, tanks and pipelines. Duties include but not limited to
• Interface with operation/maintenance for integrity related issues. Develop recommendations as needed
• Stewardship of inspection programs in assets assigned. Review inspection data and provide follow-up recommendations for monitoring, corrosion control, inspections and/or repairs
• Fitness for service assessments & Repair recommendations
• Root cause failure analyses and Materials recommendations
• Conduct risk analysis as needed
• Manage Inspection contractors
• Develop periodic reports to management on materials and corrosion control issues, opportunities, Key performance indicators, and risks
• Serve as single point of contact to operations and maintenance for certain asset or functional aspect of corrosion management
• Other activities could include
  • Corrosion surveillance at assigned assets -including stewardship of fluid analysis, coupons/probes
  • Planning, execution and Stewardship of corrosion prevention programs including CP, chemical treatment, coatings, internal environmental control program such as oxygen exclusion

Expected:

• Bachelor's in engineering - Preferably in Materials Science , Mechanical or similar field of Engineering. Masters preferred
• 5-7 years in oil and gas upstream role - Understand of corrosion mechanism and experience in integrity management
• Willing to spend time in the plant(s)

Systems:

Familiarity or experience with the following systems desired - work management system, integrity management system
