As an LNG Operations Technician, you will perform a variety of tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, ensuring compliance with technical standards and governmental requirements with minimal oversight. You'll be qualified to operate the LNG facility in holding mode (boil-off gas) and will work towards becoming qualified to operate the liquefaction and vaporization processes. Additionally, you'll need to understand and independently operate all utility and emergency systems in the facility when required.

For an Operations Technician II
Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Performs a variety of tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, ensuring compliance with technical standards and governmental requirements with minimal oversight. This includes operating the LNG facility in holding mode
- Independently operated all utility and emergency systems in the facility when required
- Follows and complies with operation, maintenance, safety, and emergency procedures
- Interprets process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, cause and effect matrices, and electrical one-line diagrams
- Completes assigned reports, logs, and maintain accurate records
- Utilizes Maximo and SWM applications to review assigned work orders and PMs with minimal direction
- Communicates clearly with internal and external customers regarding daily operations and any process or condition upsets
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
- Required: High school diploma or GED and at least one (1) year of some natural gas industry or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and technical licenses/certificates
Other Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Driver's License from the state in which you live and a clear driving record
- Must be able to pass an LNG pre-employment physical as required by federal law
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills. Must stay apprised of and abide by all company policies
Physical and Environmental Work Requirements:
- Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
- Carry and lift items that weigh a minimum of 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
- Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
- Use hand tools
Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements (edit as appropriate, or remove)
- Must be able to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as needed
- May be required to work overtime, 10-12-hour shifts, extended hours, and travel between William's locations with occasional overnight stays
For an Operations Technician I

- Performs a variety of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, ensuring compliance with technical standards and governmental requirements under direct oversight
- Carries out moderate to highly sophisticated technical assignments with direct supervision
- Works towards becoming qualified as an Outside Operator for the liquefaction and vaporization systems
- Trains to become a qualified Operator for holding mode, including operating the boil-off compressors and other necessary plant equipment
- Completes and passes all required initial LNG training, Life Criticals, Williams SSE Program, and Williams Essentials
- Follows and complies with operation, maintenance, security, and emergency procedures
- Reads and interprets drawings, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs, and maintain accurate records by completing assigned reports and logs
- Other duties as assigned
