About the Role:
Orion is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wells Subsea Control Lead.
In this critical role, you will play a key part in the successful delivery and integration of the new KS800 subsea controls system.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safe, compliant, and reliable development and engineering of the new KS800 subsea control system, integrating it seamlessly with existing FPSO systems.
• Deliver the KS800 subsea controls scope, providing technical and execution assurance.
• Collaborate with the Well Eng Subsea Lead to ensure smooth integration with new build OTS subsea xmas trees.
• Liaise with Production Operations personnel to guarantee the operability of theKS800 system on TEN and Jubilee fields.
• Coordinate with TGL Well Eng personnel to ensure the operability of the KS800 system within the TGL owned IWOCS system.
• Finalize and implement new XT type operability HAZOP, with a specific focus onchanges and integration into the existing production control system.
• Oversee first article of new XT type controls build and test at component andsystem levels.
• Project manage IWOCS upgrade & test.
• Oversee engineering and implementation of XT conversions between field types.
• Work collaboratively with Well Eng peers, TFMC project and aftermarket teams,the completion team, vendors, and production ops team to plan, integrate, and deliver the C&A element of the new XT type SIT.
• Support FPSO controls system upgrades to accommodate the new XT type and future field development on both Jubilee and TEN fields.
• Provide support for subsea MCS/HMI software upgrade testing at TFMC/W Industries in Houston.
• Support Controls Splitter fabrication and FAT testing in Houston.
• Conduct electrical and hydraulic analyses for subsea infrastructure for future well additions.
• Update subsea controls systems documentation.
• Contribute to the HPU expansion project for life-of-field support.
• Work closely with TFMC project teams, TGL Production Ops, TGL Well Engineering, TGL Contracts and Procurement.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Line Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:
• 15 years of experience in subsea production systems engineering and project management.
• Proven experience in subsea production control system engineering, delivery, and integration testing.
• Demonstrated expertise in subsea brownfield retrofit engineering and project management.
• Strong understanding of West Africa subsea production system installation projects.
• Proven track record of successful collaboration with Oil and Gas Operators.

Knowledge & Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of Offshore Oil & Gas Operator production, operations, and constraints.
• Strong understanding of production, project, and well engineering interfaces.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry SPS and SCS engineering specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Thorough understanding of oil and gas work requirements and practices.
• Expertise in oil and gas safety and quality requirements and work practices.
• Sound knowledge of oil and gas facilities design and engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of oil and gas production operations.
• Understanding of challenges associated with projects in various remote locations.
