- Develop and execute pipeline and flowline removal plans, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, HSE regulations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate and oversee the engineering, procurement, and execution phases of pipeline decommissioning and removal projects.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, permits, and regulatory compliance reports.
- Collaborate with offshore operations teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving during planning and execution phases.
- Conduct site visits and offshore assignments as required to oversee project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and adherence to budget.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or a related field).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in offshore oil and gas projects, with a focus on pipeline/flowline removal and decommissioning.
- Strong understanding of marine and subsea operations, including vessel mobilization, lifting, and subsea intervention.
- Experience with offshore construction methodologies, diving, and ROV operations.
- Familiarity with relevant Australian and international regulations, environmental requirements, and safety standards for offshore decommissioning.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel offshore as required.
