This permanent, full-time position is based in Perth CBD and offers an opportunity to work on challenging offshore projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Role Overview
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of offshore projects, ensuring their safe, efficient, and successful delivery. This role covers the full project lifecycle, including mobilisation, offshore installation, demobilisation, and project closeout.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer will work closely with senior management, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain project excellence, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer will work closely with senior management, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain project excellence, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and submit high-quality, competitive tenders in compliance with client requirements.
- Oversee and ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of projects, adhering to health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) management systems.
- Collaborate with senior management and subcontractors to manage procurement, develop scopes of work, evaluate proposals, and oversee contract implementation.
- Supervise the mobilisation, offshore installation, and demobilisation phases, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Prepare and manage equipment lists, checklists, and project documentation to support execution.
- Provide on-site support during offshore operations, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of three years' relevant experience in offshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and detailed reports.
- A proactive, adaptive, and professional approach to project challenges and changes in scope.
- Experience in tendering and proposal preparation.
- Familiarity with saturation and air diving operations.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Willingness and ability to work offshore when required.
- Knowledge of flexible flowline and umbilical installation.
- Experience with ROV subsea tooling operations and vessel positioning equipment.
- Practical expertise in offshore oil and gas operations.
