Your role and responsibilities

The Robotics unit is the largest supplier of robotic workstations and automated systems in the Czech Republic, across the entire industrial spectrum. We focus on both standardized production process solutions and the individual needs of our customers. Our main goal is to help manufacturers increase productivity, product quality, and worker safety. We are looking for a colleague to join this unit as an Industrial Robot Service Technician, who will be responsible for servicing ABB industrial robots at our customers in the Ústí nad Labem and Karlovy Vary regions. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Robotics in Czechia. Job Description: • Servicing ABB robots at our customers and diagnosing faults in ABB robots and their accessories directly at the customer's site • Performing warranty and post-warranty mechanical and electrical repairs of industrial robots • Regular maintenance of workstations, programming robots and related applications, software repairs • Coordinating and holding hotline on-call duties, responsibility for local customers

Qualifications for the role

• Secondary or higher education or an apprenticeship certificate in electrical engineering
• Time flexibility, willingness to hold service on-call duty (1 week per month)
• Certification 50/78, min. §5
• Driving license group B - active driver
• Experience in servicing and programming industrial robots is an advantage
• Czech language on communication level, English language skills at least at the level of reading technical documentation
• Willingness to travel, interest in robotics, digital technology, and modern procedures
