SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offers all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.
Position
Identify at-risk behaviors and unsafe conditions, taking immediate corrective actions.
Oversee HSE aspects of high-risk jobs, ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed.
Play a key role in hazard identification and risk mitigation during work operations.
Prepare and review HSE documentation such as certificates, checklists and Assessments.
Ensure the effective implementation of the emergency response plan.
Lead and participate in regular HSE meetings with the operations team on daily, weekly, and monthly bases.
Follow up and close out HSE issues and actions from company and client HSE meetings, inspections, and audits.
Monitor and report incidents and near-misses in compliance with company procedures.
Promote HSE awareness among all staff members.
Ensure all employees have the correct PPE and are using it properly.
Encourage and support employees and contractors to halt work when safety is compromised.
Requirements
University Grade (Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
1-3 years of experience.
Mother tongue Spanish and good English Language Written and Spoken.
Advanced Computer Skills.
Subject Matter Expertise in core risk areas, control systems, and safety regulations.
OSHA certificate or equivalent is a plus
