Mechanic Sperry Drilling
 
Contract period: ASAP - 6 months duration
Location: Tananger

Main Tasks:

• The role is to work on a shift cycle. 
• The lead will be responsible for the load out out of all scope of directional and logging while drilling Bottom Hole assembly by supervising final configuration of tools in a “Ready to run” condition, making up lift subs, stabilisers, float subs etc in the shop. 
• Ensuring tool quality documentation is complete for customer review. 
• Finalising paperwork for final physical shipping to the rig site. 
• Communicating internally and externally to the progress of schedules in the delivery of tools. 

Qualifications:

• Experience with Oil and gas service company or similar industry.
• Forklift driver preferred.
• Over head crane and slinging experience.
• Good communicator, verbally and in writing.
• Preferred to have experience using hydraulic torque units making up tubular pipe.
• Strong service company Oilfield experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Good team lead, flexible and proactive. 
• Must be able to self supervise and manage multiple activities simultaneously. 
• Understanding of documentation and safety requirements.
