Your role and responsibilities
If you have a background in electrical service and want to work with the best solutions in the maritime world, this job is your opportunity. Your role involves servicing electrical equipment on ferries, container ships, and in the offshore wind industry, among others. Your focus will be on providing comprehensive service, ranging from minor repairs and planned maintenance to system upgrades and conversions to electric operation. You will receive tasks, assess needs, devise solutions, order the necessary spare parts, and carry out the service-sometimes with assistance from your team members. We will provide the appropriate training to enable you to tackle these tasks based on your existing experience. You will primarily work in Denmark and be based in Middelfart. Your role: • Carry out technical maintenance of electrical equipment, including frequency drives, switchboards, rotating machines, DC Grid, and automation components. • Prepare work plans and safety documents before starting tasks. • Participate in our remote support scheme and answer customers' technical questions. • Provide technical knowledge to project managers and salespeople in connection with the preparation of offers. • Update technical documentation after service completion, including drawings, service reports, and programs. • Act as ABB's positive and solution-oriented ambassador with customers. • Be willing and able to travel approximately 120 days per year, including international travel.

Qualifications for the role
- An education such as marine engineer, electrical technician, engineer, electrician or similar
- Several years of experience with independent task solving out at customers
- The courage to try without always being on completely safe ground
- Great desire to learn new things - general curiosity about new things
- Ability to search for answers yourself with sense of when to ask for help
- Good English and Danish skills, written and oral
