Role Overview:

The Senior Project Engineer will provide comprehensive project engineering management services, covering all aspects of Brownfield works within concept optimization studies, FEED, and EPIC contracts. This includes overseeing projects from inception through to commissioning and handover. The objective is to ensure that the projects are completed in alignment with project requirements, specifications, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering management of Brownfield projects, ensuring all phases (Concept optimization, FEED, EPIC) are executed according to project specifications.
• Manage and coordinate the preparation of the scope of work for tenders, bid evaluations, and project risk assessments.
• Oversee contracts coordination and management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams during the different phases of the project, ensuring alignment and adherence to project objectives.
• Support the development of execution strategies and plans for both onshore and offshore projects.
• Implement industry best practices, company processes, and standards across the project.
• Guide the development of project management processes, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, promoting team building, effective communication, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognised university. A higher degree would be advantageous.
• Experience:
  • At least 12 years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of major Oil & Gas offshore projects, including fabrication yard experience or work in consultancy roles.
  • Significant experience in project engineering, including scope of work preparation for tender, bid evaluation, and risk assessment.
  • Strong background in engineering coordination across various disciplines during Concept optimization, FEED, and EPIC phases.
  • Proven experience in applying industry best practices, as well as the company’s systems, processes, and standards.
  • Familiarity with developing onshore and offshore project execution strategies and project management processes.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Membership in a recognised professional engineering institution/association is preferable.
