The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of well construction and the ability to engage effectively with drilling engineers, field supervisors, and company leadership, with strong technical sales capabilities and extensive field experience.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of well construction and the ability to engage effectively with drilling engineers, field supervisors, and company leadership, with strong technical sales capabilities and extensive field experience.
This role is crucial in ensuring smooth deployment, fostering user adoption, and driving long-term value creation from Delta Initiative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment & Implementation:
- Execute the rollout of new digital technology (Delta Initiative) across domestic and international business units.
- Configure and troubleshoot digital tools during the implementation phase.
- Serve as the point of contact for deployment-related technical issues.
- Ensure alignment between digital solutions and operational objectives.
User Support & Training:
- Conduct on-site, hands-on training sessions and workshops for Drilling & Completions staff.
- Provide ongoing technical support and guidance post-deployment.
- Develop user manuals, training materials, and best practice guides.
Customer Engagement & Advocacy:
- Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders (D&C teams, supervisors, drilling managers, etc.).
- Act as a trusted advisor, promoting the value of Delta tools and addressing user concerns.
- Gather and relay user feedback to the development team for continuous improvement.
Change Management:
- Collaborate with regional champions and superusers to integrate tools into existing workflows.
- Address resistance to technology adoption and ensure smooth implementation.
Reporting & Communication:
- Capture and interpret user feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular updates on deployment progress, user adoption, and key metrics.
- Communicate success stories and key updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Significant field experience as a drilling, completions, or workover engineer with in-depth knowledge of well construction and D&C workflows.
- Strong understanding of how digital tools impact operational performance.
- Experience with drilling/completions software such as KNM, Well Data 4.0, Landmark Engineering Suite, Well Seeker, Open Wells, AWS-based applications.
- Project management experience related to technology deployment in oil & gas.
Customer Engagement Skills:
- Experience in technical sales, customer service, or consulting within the oil & gas sector.
- Ability to effectively engage engineers, field supervisors, and company leadership.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Operational Experience:
- Hands-on field experience in well construction supervision (drilling, completions, or workover).
- Experience deploying and scaling technology solutions for oil & gas service companies.
- Familiarity with drilling/completions reporting and real-time monitoring systems.
Soft Skills:
- Self-starter with proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deployments.
- Ability to adapt to changing role expectations as needed.
- Natural relationship builder with a friendly, engaging, and approachable personality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in US Land (required).
- Experience in Gulf of Mexico, Middle East, or African markets is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL, data lakes, networking, and cloud-based platforms is a plus.
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, primarily to West Texas.
- Strong adaptability to different operational environments.
