We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Integrity Technician to join our team in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This is a full-time contract position with a duration of 8 months initially (with possible extension).
Role Overview
- Lead all piping air blows, cleaning flushes, and leak testing activities at the Pikka project site in the North Slope of Alaska.
- Collaborate with contractors to develop and review procedures for pipe cleaning and leak testing.
- Supervise and ensure safe and environmentally responsible execution of piping systems' cleaning and testing activities.
- Work with the CSU team to plan and execute daily piping systems' cleaning and testing activities.
- Coordinate with the construction team to manage interfaces between pipe cleaning and ongoing construction activities.
- Provide leadership in creating a positive and collaborative work culture on the project site.
- Actively participate in safety planning for CSU activities across the Pikka site.
- Support the development and implementation of the project handover plan to Operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Piping, commissioning, and cold weather commissioning experience.
- Knowledge of piping and valve engineering, piping and instrumentation, and piping design.
- Optional requirement: Piping/pipeline technician or engineering degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Education & Experience
- Oil and Gas technician or similar education preferred. Engineering degree is a plus.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in CSU for oil and gas projects.
- Experience working on projects in Alaska's North Slope is preferred.
