Role Overview:
The job holder is responsible for demonstrating exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE rules and requirements and for implementing HSE standards within their area of responsibility. They will oversee technical and coordination activities during the execution phase of the project, from the end of FEED to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and promote a strong HSE culture across the project through all phases of EPCIC for topside works.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction activities on offshore platforms in a safe and timely manner, in compliance with company standards and project budget.
- Manage site contracts effectively.
- Define, implement, manage, and follow up on necessary scopes and procedures for offshore topside platforms, including structural, electrical, and telecom works such as cable installations, demolition of redundant cables, and installation of telecom cabinets and equipment.
- Lead the testing and commissioning of LV power and telecom systems, as well as associated activities like scaffolding and painting.
- Manage technical interfaces between the project team, contractors, and other relevant entities such as HSE, QA/QC, and field operations.
- Oversee SIMOPS preparation and ensure proper coordination of offshore construction activities.
- Review and provide input to EPCIC contractors' detailed engineering deliverables from an HSE and constructability perspective.
- Ensure timely preparation and review of project documentation to avoid design conflicts and ensure consistency in project execution.
- Lead scope preparation for the EPCIC contract, managing technical communication interfaces with external operators.
- Participate in technical interface meetings, workshops, and reviews to ensure alignment across the project.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables are issued in a timely manner by contractors, and assist in closing out technical interfaces.
- Expedite resolution of technical queries and derogation requests in coordination with relevant engineering teams.
- Monitor project progress and report any concerns or deviations to the project management team.
- Maintain confidentiality of all documentation produced.
Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years overall, with at least 10 years in offshore oil and gas projects. A minimum of 7 years as an offshore construction representative (Manager/Superintendent) for brownfield modification works on offshore platforms.

Skills:
- Experience in the installation of electrical, instrumentation, telecom (EIT) scope, including cable tray installations, cable pulling, and structural supports.
- Familiarity with the Permit to Work system and taking ownership of HSE during offshore construction.
- Ability to coordinate and manage a large spectrum of engineering disciplines and interfaces.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Good analytical skills and a sound knowledge of contractual matters.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient in standard office software.

Certifications: H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training would be beneficial. MEMIR (OPITO approved) and offshore emergency management experience are also desirable.

- Available for technical missions worldwide.
- Ability to liaise with contractors and manage all technical communication interfaces across multiple project phases.
