Your role and responsibilities

We are currently looking for an engineer for Asset Performance Management systems for the Process Automation Division - Energy Industry. Such unit provides design, configuration, test, commissioning and service of automation systems (DCS) for the Oil & Gas, Refining, Chemical, Power and Water Industry. Role is located in Genova plant. APM systems are advanced control applications integrated with DCS and involved in performance and condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and diagnostics of plants. The selected engineer will participate in developing projects with Asset Performance Management applications for Italian and international customers. The involvement in the Asset Performance Management applications will range from APM preliminary design to online testing, from process analysis to remote support to commissioning.

Qualifications for the role

• Freshly graduated in engineering (automation, chemical, mechanical, or Energy), alternatively currently student in such disciplines
• Knowledge of physics, thermodynamics, thermal engineering, machine operation.
• Curiosity in understanding how industrial plants work and interest for describing them with mathematical calculations according to the principles of physics
• Basic knowledge of main industrial processes (mainly Power generation)
• Familiarity with MS operating systems and Office suite, particularly MS Excel
• Good knowledge of English language (both written and spoken)
