Wood is currently recruiting for an offshore Rotating Equipment Technician to join our team on a large-scale gas platform located in the East Mediterranean Sea

If you would like to play a key role in helping to secure the energy security of the region in a varied and exciting role offshore, then this could be the one for you.

Our client's activity in the region is focused on exploration, discovery, reservoir development, and the production, transmission and supply of natural gas to its customers in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

Wood are providing Operations and Maintenance personnel onboard the platform.

Due to working visa requirements and the operating standards in the region we have a strong preference for candidates with experience of working in the North Sea along with previous international offshore oil & gas experience.

We require Rotating Equipment Technicians, with an emphasis on Turbine maintenance, with optimal experience on maintaining Solar Taurus turbines.

QUALIFICATIONS

What makes you remarkable?

Essential requirements for role:

• ONC / HNC in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Previous offshore experience ideally working in the North Sea
• Experience of maintaining Solar Taurus turbines
• BOSIET Training

Desirable:

• International oil and gas experience
