We are currently recruiting a Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator for a Global Oil & Gas EPC on an initial 12-month contract to be based into the office initially and then transition to a 3.3 roster offshore in Western Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and provide on time suitable, appropriate and accurate Project PTW deliverables, as required in the contract, and approved by Project Management and the client
  • Development and implementation of PTW system
  • Ensure the efficient use and availability of the PTW system in the offshore environment
  • Coordinate the approval process and issuance of permits
  • Liaise with performing parties during the planning phase to complete permit reviews and ensure appropriate risk assessments
  • Conduct site visits and spot-checks to ensure compliance with PTW procedures
  • Coordinate and conduct routine PTW audits, and report findings
  • Facilitate daily PTW coordination meetings and update the list of planned work activities
  • Maintain records and hard copies of all PTW documentation as per policy
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Formal qualification in WHS or Engineering (degree / diploma / trade qualification) is desirable.
  • Understand PTW principles and ability to apply them to a project/site management process.
  • Training session development and high presentation skills.
  • Computer literacy
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in oil and gas operations and minimum 5 years’ experience and at least two relevant projects as a PTW coordinator.
  • Proven experience in the management and coordination of Permit to work systems (both paper-based and electronic preferably)
  • Experienced in the preparation of job cards and work packs preferably
  • Proven communication skills dealing with Clients, Contractors, Staff and Offshore personnel (as required). 
Additional Information:
  • Overseas travel to before sail away to implement PTW system will be required
  • Vocation training required to keep up to date with HSES standards / principles and changes in regulations
