Key Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical and integrity calculations for piping and equipment including wall thickness selection and pipework stress analysis utilizing CAESAR II
- Create detailed engineering piping design of FLET/PLET, PLEM, ILT, Manifolds and other underwater structures in accordance with acknowledged industry codes, standards, client specifications and scopes of work
- Analyse and/or issuance of design documentation including feasibility reports, detailed design reports, equipment specifications
- Provide input to check and approve subsea structures piping tie-in general arrangement and isometric drawings
- Production of pipework and fitting specifications
- Coordinate piping and mechanical engineering support for the execution of multidiscipline projects in line within defined budget and schedule
- Liaise with associated subsea related disciplines and understand the interfaces within a project.
- Interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines, drawing office, document control, project management, client and suppliers.
- Provide piping engineering assistance during occasional periods of offshore or site working.
- Provide piping engineering support to Tenders, FEED Studies and EPCI stages.
- Produce CTR estimates for relevant scopes of works.

- Train/mentor junior engineers.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as mechanical, materials or similar.
- Experience in onshore and offshore piping design engineering.
- Knowledge of at least one relevant piping design standard such as ASME B31.8, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.3, DNVGL-ST-F101/DNV-OS-F10, among others.
- Experience in performing piping stress calculations using CAESAR II software and produced wall thickness calculations and piping stress reports.
- Familiarity with piping fitting and flanges standards such as ASME B16.9, ASME B16.5, API 6A or ISO 14723, BS EN ISO 27509.
- Good knowledge of materials and their properties, particularly Super Duplex Steels.
- Familiar with Finite Element Analysis using ABAQUS or ANSYS software of pressure equipment and specific rules such as Part 5 of ASME BPVC VIII-2 or Annex B of EN 13445-3.
- Ability to read, review and comment on detailed design documentation such as client project specifications, isometric and general arrangement drawings and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) and piping reports.
