We are urgently hiring for a PERMANENT role to be based in QATAR.

Our Chemical client based in Qatar is looking to hire a "Process Engineer - MTBE"

Position: - Process Engineer - MTBE

Manage the Process Engineering function and working in conjunction with members of the Plant departments, lead and manage the analysis the various processes

Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree in Chemical Engineering.

Minimum Experience:

• 10 years or above relevant experience preferably in MTBE, or Petrochemical plants like Propylene, PDH- Dehydrogenation, Aromatics or  Refinery associated petrochemical complex  production environments.
• Relevant experience with a large organization preferably in the petrochemicals industry or refinery
• Experience on unit operations, catalysis and Reaction Kinetics, CCR - Continuous catalyst regenerations ,  Cryogenic operations with refrigeration systems
• Gas purifications systems – Adsorbents and its regeneration and associated sequence operations
• MOC- Management of Change cycle
• PSM  elements and its relevance to process engineering
• APC applications in process plants
• Knowledge of Rotating Machinery like high power compressors and steam turbines and its associated systems PHA -   HAZOP, What if, SIL etc skills and applications
• Formal training in Project Management is desirable and Systematic decision making processes is required

Required Skills:

• Broad understanding of all company operations and maintenance processes.
• Expert understanding of equipment performance testing techniques and theory.
• Expert understanding of environmental testing protocols and techniques.
• Detailed understanding of plant/equipment specifications.
• Process trouble shooting
