Position: Senior EPC Contract Engineer
Location: Paris
Duration: 12 month renewable contract
Start date: 01/09/2025

We are looking for an experienced Senior Contract Engineer to manage complex EPC projects ranging from $50M to $3B in CAPEX. You will act as a key contract referent for designated projects, ensuring strong contract governance, claims management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum 15 years experience in EPC contract engineering and administration.
Strong expertise in complex contract negotiations and claims management.
Experience working on high-value, high-complexity projects.
Ability to coordinate with legal teams and ensure contract governance.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management & Procurement:

Lead contract engineering and administration for major industrial projects.
Develop, negotiate, and execute contract packages (CFT, FEED+, OBE/OBT).
Evaluate commercial bids and provide award recommendations.
Ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation strategies.

Project Support & Coordination:

Be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for contract-related matters.
Provide expertise in claim prevention and resolution.
Support project teams in approvals, governance, and contract best practices.
Represent the company in project reviews, contract committees, and supplier meetings.

Claims & Dispute Resolution:

Assess and manage contractor/company claims and disputes.
Advise projects on contract execution and claims management.
Draft correspondence and notices to contractors.

Training & Continuous Improvement:

Provide coaching and training for contract engineers.
Contribute to lessons learned and best practice consolidation.
