The Product Supply Chain Leader (PSCL) is responsible for developing and implementing global supply chain plans, initiatives, and activities that drive flawless Supply Chain and Cost Optimization programs. This position also has responsibility for working across a highly matrixed organization of Product Engineering, Strategic Supply Chain Groups, Supplier Quality/Development/Performance Organizations, and Tactical Purchasing managers (production and inventory controls) to meet the COST, QUALITY, DELIVERY, SPEED and CASH targets for the manufacturing plants and delivering the Net Savings Targets for the business

The Product Supply Chain Leader (PSCL) is responsible for developing and implementing global supply chain plans, initiatives, and activities that drive flawless Supply Chain and Cost Optimization programs. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Understand the cost drivers for the Casting and Casting Machining categories & services.
- Identify potential suppliers and leverage competition among suppliers.
- Develop "partners of choice" relationships with preferred strategic suppliers in line with the Category Strategy and Supplier.
- Plan for growth and capacity requirements, bringing to bear supplier capabilities for on-time-to-market, cost, and launch readiness.
- Align suppliers to the Strategy by completing due diligence on any new suppliers and finalize the panel of suppliers to invite to drive cost reduction programs.
- Maintain close collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering departments while working to gain applicable supplier approvals.
- Drive Sourcing Projects. Complete Initial RFQ Analysis, prepare a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Model, and review with partners to evaluate cost-down opportunities. Update cross-functional teams through the progress of the sourcing projects and coordinate project gate reviews with team members.
- Complete Cost Tensioning using E-Sourcing as the tool of choice.
- Manage contracts with suppliers to develop relationships and minimize risks to the business.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- Proficient in English, both oral and writing.
- Strong negotiation and project management skills with multi-disciplinary teams.
- At least 8 years related functional working experience in Supply Chain. Big Sourcing Program and/or Project leadership experience of cross-functional teams, with a proven record of successful projects, is desirable. Experience in handling of Castings is preferred.
- Capability in planning and analytics, structured problem solving, facilitating, and presentation skills.
- Persuasive communication, influencing & negotiation skills (internally and externally).
- Extensive contract negotiation & management, strong supplier management experience.
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, global / best cost country (BCC) sourcing, and logistics optimization initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience in e-Sourcing preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of manufacturing and lean preferred.
- Experience with core software applications (ERP), preferably with SAP or Oracle.
- Microsoft Office skills, excellent at using Excel for data analysis.
