Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on EHouse FPSO projects from medium to high complexity. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries EHouse Business. The role is based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments including the following areas: • Overall Key Single Line Diagram (SLD) & Protection Single Line Diagram (SLD). • System studies like Load flow, Short circuit, transient study etc. • Designing calculations including transformer sizing, battery sizing, earthing calculation, Cable sizing, cable tray sizing, lighting calculation. • Data sheet & specification for Equipment's like transformer, MV Switchgear, LV Switchgear, UPS system, bus duct, cable tray earthing. • Equipment layout, cable routing/ cable tray layout, cable schedule preparation, earthing design, bus duct layout, lighting layout, switchgear fixing arrangement drawing. • Equipment drawing for transformer, MV switchgear, LV Switchgear, Bus duct, DC/UPS system, NGR, Is Limitor. • Equipment drawing for transformer, Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear, Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, Bus duct, Direct Current/Uninterruptible Power Supply (DC/UPS) system, Neutral Grounding Resistor (NGR), Is Limitor. • Coordinating with different discipline and ensure on time delivery of all Engineering deliverables as per the project deliverable list. Coordinating with customer & supplier across different locations.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology, ideally with a focus on Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in engineering for offshore FPSO EHouse projects.
- Familiarity with ABS and DNV requirements.
- Proficiency in design tools such as ETAP, lighting calculation, and cable sizing tools.
- Knowledge of relevant international standards, such as IEC, is an added advantage.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
