Who you are:

As a Petroleum Engineer III with Frost, you are our subject matter expert. You partner with others by performing oil and gas reserve evaluations and overall asset base reviews of Frost's existing and potential oil and gas clients. In this role, you will provide guidance to other team members and work together to accomplish big goals. If working with other departments excites you, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our Relationship Managers and doing so with our signature all-win approach in mind.

What you'll do:
  • Identify the primary reservoir risks of each specific subject's reserve base
  • Review current production rates, operating expenses, price differentials, and projected decline rates for each subject and make adjustments as warranted
  • Identify risks associated with Proven Undeveloped reserves and adjust volumes, production rates, and expenses according to bank's lending policy
  • Work with Relationship Managers to ensure projected cash flow models are consistent with reserve evaluation
  • Accompany Relationship Managers on customer calls as needed
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum
  • Registered Petroleum Engineer
  • 7+ years experience with an oil and gas company, energy bank, or consulting firm
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with ARIES and PHDWIN software
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
