• Wastewater Technician I ($20.70/ hr)
  • No experience is required but must have the ability to obtain a Class B CDL within one year of employment.
• Wastewater Technician II ($21.74/ hr)
  • Must currently possess a Class B CDL in the state of Texas.
• Wastewater Technician III ($23.96/ hr)
  • Must currently possess a Class B CDL in the state of Texas with Tanker Endorsement within 12 months of employment.
  • Must currently possess a TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) Class C Water Distribution and/or Class II Wastewater Collections license.

What You Will Be Doing
The Wastewater Technician will maintain the water and wastewater lines and hydrants. This is accomplished by digging to repair water and sewer lines, laying pipe and making connections, setting manholes, inlets and storm sewers, loading materials onto trucks, excavating, and backfilling holes and ditches. Additional duties include operating equipment and completing other projects which could include concrete, landscaping and road work.
