You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Detroit, Michigan location on a remote work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the security and safety of our customers by ensuring the proper functioning of access control and security systems. You will play a crucial role in protecting people and property from security threats.

In this role, you will impact the security and safety of our customers by ensuring the proper functioning of access control and security systems. You will play a crucial role in protecting people and property from security threats.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair access control and security systems
- Conduct inspections and testing of security systems to ensure compliance with regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with access control and security systems
- Provide technical support and training to customers and field service technicians
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on access control and security systems
- Must pass an intensive background check due to the nature of the project.
- Hold a valid driver's license and be eligible to drive to job sites.
- Hold or be able to obtain required industry licenses (e.g., fire alarm license, access control certifications).
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in access control and security system technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
WE VALUE
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing subcontractors and coordinating with inspectors.
- Familiarity with construction safety protocols and regulatory standards in both the U.S. and Canada.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between stakeholders and represent the Project Manager.
