Purpose of the Role:

Work as part of the Trident Energy subsurface teams in the London office and supporting international subsidiaries. The role requires solid reservoir engineering skills as well as operational experience. An ability to think creatively and propose solutions and ideas to increase production/reserves is essential.

Job Function:

• Studies work including Reservoir simulation and material balance
• Well modelling and optimisation using nodal analysis
• Production / Injection monitoring and optimization
• Pressure transient analysis
• Decline curve analysis
• Reporting and presenting
• Support and mentor more junior members of the team where appropriate

Key Requirements
• 10-13 years experience
• Team player able to collaborate with other disciplines, mainly geologist, production and wells team
• Independent worker with minimal supervision
• Focused towards achieving goals/milestones and delivering the highest quality technical work
• Proactive, self-starter able to propose own ideas to increase production and reserves
• Familiar with RE software suite

Key Responsibilities
• Take some lead on reservoir studies: co-ordination of small group, engage vendors, other departments
• Present studies result in convincing and succinct way to managers and peers
• Propose field development opportunities to increase production/reserves
• Coach/assist less experienced team members
