Be part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Honeywell Military Avionics products. You will work closely with engineering leadership on improving and documenting processes. You will help coordinate and execute project planning, and act as a liaison between engineering groups, provide data reporting for both internal and external customers, and facilitate to help engineers and technicians succeed.

Key Responsibilities
• Support engineers deriving and developing requirements and creating reports and presentations for leadership and external customers. Support configuration item releases for TeamCenter (documents, drawings, redlines, ECN request forms).
• Communicate with technical and process experts to act with urgency & ownership to ensure completion of project milestones. Interact with team members to resolve day-to-day issues. May present task status to team members and leaders and have limited contact with customers with guidance from engineers and managers.
• Team with Engineers and Technicians to apply methodologies to identify and solve complex problems. Provide guidance to Engineering Technicians to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Support Engineers and Technicians with advanced trouble shooting skills and tools such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, understanding schematics and drawing symbols, locating artifacts in TeamCenter, and product-specific communication knowledge such as 1553, Can Bus, Spy Bus, RS-232, GPIB, ARINC-429 or programming pods such as Altera/Xilinx or emulators.
• Support labor forecasts by working with engineers and technicians to understand the amount of work completed and work remaining to complete for project(s) you support.
• Support proposal estimates with researching vendor quotes, historical material purchase orders, and actual labor hours performed for similar tasks.
• Support and facilitate engineering material requisitions with researching vendor quotes and similar purchase order history.
• Document and continuously improve engineering processes.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
• Four-plus years of experience in aerospace engineering or ISC operations
• Associates Degree. High School Degree
