Your role and responsibilities

We are looking to appoint an R&D Engineer to support the ELSP (Smart Power) business at our site. While displaying strong leadership skills in a team environ-ment, the engineer should demonstrate experience in design, quality, safety, com-pliance, and new product implementation. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for: • Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work. • Finding new ways of solving problems by following your ideas, creating hypotheses, and defining ways to validate them. • Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them. • Understanding and initiating IP generation in your area of specialization and participating in the project IP strategy development.

Qualifications for the role

• 5+ years of experience in similar positions.
• Experience in Mechanical design related to electrical components or equip-ment Preferred
• LV Switchboard product knowledge or similar (MCC, Switchgear, Busway , Panelboards etc).
• 3+ years of experience using CREO or Windchill.
• Agile process exposure.
• Advanced English Level.
• Knowledge of certification standards for electrical equipment (UL, IEC, ANSI, IEEE).
• Experience with Bill of Materials generation & good working exposure to Creo & Other CAD tools.
• Advanced English.
