Wellhead, Xmas Tree and WAG Manifold Lead Engineer - Paris

On behalf of a major E&P operator, WRS are looking for an experienced Wellhead, Xmas Tree, and WAG Manifold Lead Engineer to join our project team in Paris. The role will support the execution phase of a major offshore project, focusing on subsea production systems (SPS) and drilling/completion operations.

The role will be offered on a 12 month renewable contract, based residentially in Paris, paying a day rate in Euros.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of Wellhead, Production Guide Base (PGB), Tubing Hanger (TH), Xmas Tree, and WAG Manifold systems.
• Act as the primary interface between Drilling, Completion, and Rig Operations to ensure seamless integration with SPS systems.
• Oversee and validate engineering, testing, and manufacturing of Wellhead and WAG Manifold components, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Define and coordinate engineering and testing activities, including fit-up, stack-up, and integration testing of standard SPS equipment with drilling and completion tools.
• Ensure compliance with H3SE (Health, Safety, Security, Social, and Environment) standards, company ethics, and anti-corruption policies.
• Support the development of rig books covering SPS equipment, drilling, and completion operations.
• Participate in WAG manifold test engineering, installation planning, and intervention procedures.
• Contribute to overall project objectives by optimizing cost, schedule, and technical quality while maintaining a focus on GHG emissions reduction.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• At least 20 years of professional experience in offshore drilling, completion, and subsea production systems.
• Minimum 15 years of project experience in similar roles.
• Expertise in subsea wellheads, Xmas trees, and manifold systems
• Strong background in drilling and completion operations and integration with subsea equipment.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
• Right to work in the EU
