🔧 Senior Project Engineer – Civil

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough handovers with previous shift engineers and communicate shift plans clearly to supervisors and crews
  
  
• Lead daily pre-start meetings across civil, shotcrete, steel fixing, and rock bolting teams
  
  
• Review WSP-issued SRs and coordinate design changes with team supervisors
  
  
• Maintain fortnightly updates of Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and provide accurate 8-week forecasts for batch plant materials
  
  
• Manage shop drawing updates and alignment with the latest anchor schedules
  
  
• Supervise off-site (on-island) civil works including fabrication, inspections, and yard logistics
  
  
• Coordinate material delivery, storage, and logistics in collaboration with procurement and site teams
  
  
• Lead preparation and installation of rock bolts, grout tubes, and spacers
  
  
• Ensure proper material handling and storage practices are followed on the bench
  
  
• Support survey team with rock bolt markings and coordinate survey hold points
  
  
• Assist QA/QC team in SOP implementation, punch list closeouts, and NCR resolutions
  
  
• Monitor and manage rosters, RDOs, and productivity of the civil QA/QC engineering team
  
  
• Provide technical support for Devi-Gyro and Devi aligner activities when required
  
  

✅ About You:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  
  
• Minimum 7 years experience in heavy civil, mining, or underground infrastructure projects
  
  
• Proven track record in engineering leadership, construction execution, and QA/QC support
  
  
• Strong knowledge of material tracking, drawings management, and construction processes
  
  
• Highly organised with strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills
  
  
• Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, and project documentation systems
  
  
• Prior FIFO or remote site experience is highly desirable
