🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough handovers with previous shift engineers and communicate shift plans clearly to supervisors and crews
- Lead daily pre-start meetings across civil, shotcrete, steel fixing, and rock bolting teams
- Review WSP-issued SRs and coordinate design changes with team supervisors
- Maintain fortnightly updates of Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and provide accurate 8-week forecasts for batch plant materials
- Manage shop drawing updates and alignment with the latest anchor schedules
- Supervise off-site (on-island) civil works including fabrication, inspections, and yard logistics
- Coordinate material delivery, storage, and logistics in collaboration with procurement and site teams
- Lead preparation and installation of rock bolts, grout tubes, and spacers
- Ensure proper material handling and storage practices are followed on the bench
- Support survey team with rock bolt markings and coordinate survey hold points
- Assist QA/QC team in SOP implementation, punch list closeouts, and NCR resolutions
- Monitor and manage rosters, RDOs, and productivity of the civil QA/QC engineering team
- Provide technical support for Devi-Gyro and Devi aligner activities when required
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 7 years experience in heavy civil, mining, or underground infrastructure projects
- Proven track record in engineering leadership, construction execution, and QA/QC support
- Strong knowledge of material tracking, drawings management, and construction processes
- Highly organised with strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills
- Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, and project documentation systems
- Prior FIFO or remote site experience is highly desirable
- Work on one of the largest gold mining operations in the world
