Position Title: Analyzer Technician
Location: Qatar
Start Date: TBD
End Date: February 28, 2026
Work Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off (8 hours per day + 0.5-hour unpaid lunch)
Leave Entitlement: 24 unpaid leave days per annum
Airfare: 1 annual economy-class leave ticket (for contracts ≥ 1 year; eligible after 6 months of continuous service)

Position Summary:
The Analyzer Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, availability, and reliability of all QMI (Quality Measurement Instruments) and metering equipment in a live oil & gas plant environment. This role requires more than 10 years of hands-on experience and a demonstrated ability to execute maintenance activities safely, independently, and in line with international standards and plant operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain technical integrity and ensure effective maintenance of production facilities and equipment.

Report directly to the QMI Supervisor and support delivery of mapped competency and WALP requirements.

Execute Flawless Asset QMI Maintenance and participate in assigned Turnaround duties.

Utilize CMMS (SAP) for accurate maintenance records and history logging.

Actively participate in team KPI achievement: CM/PM compliance, scheduled attainment, SAP coding.

Participate in QA/QC processes and Call-Out Duty Roster.

Escalate spare parts issues and coordinate follow-ups.

Interface with other departments to ensure smooth and safe maintenance execution.
Technical Expertise Required:

Independent diagnostics and monitoring using FDM.

Knowledge and experience with:

Custody metering maintenance per Qatar Energy Measurement Guidelines

Analyzer House Safety Systems
-
Complex QMI systems (e.g., GCs, ICs, CODs, CEMS, TOC/O2/NDIR, Dew Point, ASTM, PGC Data Communication)

Foundation Fieldbus and HART devices
-
Custody Transfer Metering and Gas Detection Systems

Recovery systems and associated sampling setup

ePTW (electronic Permit to Work) system and attachments

Competency in:

Electrical Isolation (Low Voltage)

SPI, AMADAS systems
-
Plant change systems and compliance adherence

Familiarity with field instrumentation, DCS, and IPS systems

Contribute to Major Turnarounds and ensure no overdue PM tasks
Mandatory Requirements:

Over 10 years of relevant experience in QMI and metering maintenance in Oil & Gas environments

Strong understanding of plant reliability, safety, and ISO-based QA/QC standards

Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines

Successful completion of COMPEX training (mandatory; enables independent routine operations)
