Title: Senior Finance Analyst

Reports to Financial Reporting Team Lead

Key Accountabilities
Short term:
Support the financial reporting team lead and the Inventory team lead to:

• Run variance analysis monthly and quarterly

• Run analysis actuals for chart of account

• Run and analyse aging report

• Monitor transactions in the Maximo Inventory system to ensure that they are properly recorded:

           *  From – Invoicing, Goods in Transit and Receipting
           *  Through- Storage, Issues, Returns
           * Ensure that current Inventory balances are properly analysed, reconciled, aged and actioned

• Review balance sheet accounts and raise any inconsistencies
• Ensure that Inventory transactions are timely and properly supported – by appropriate:

          GRNs – Good received notes
          MITs – Issues tickets
          Contracts and Invoices – for unit prices
 

• Support the team to perform stockcount and summarize results.
• Prepare Ad hoc reports and analysis as required by the business.

Criteria & Qualifications

• Preferably with experience of working in the Oil and Gas industry or with International companies
• Accounting qualification
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Good Computer skills – including Excel, Word, Outlook
• Competence with Financial systems – preferably experience of SUN / Maximo
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Experience in SUN/MAXIMO for Inventory Management
• Reading, Writing and Speaking in Arabic & English is essential
