For our client, an international Independent Power Producer with growing pipeline of Wind, Storage and PV projects in Poland, we are currently seeking for an experienced project development manager. In this role we require independency in project development and hands-on approach for development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the development and implementation of a diverse range of wind projects, including PV and BESS, at the initial development stage.
• Assess project feasibility by analyzing available land, environmental conditions, spatial planning, etc.
• Negotiate with clients, contractors, and other third parties, and manage the preparation and coordination of contracts.
• Coordinate the acquisition of necessary decisions, agreements, certificates, and permits for project implementation.
• Ensure the completeness and updating of required project documentation.
• Budget, plan, organize, monitor, and report on all phases of the project lifecycle effectively.
• Regularly monitor and report work progress to supervisors.
• Identify project risks, create a risk register, and manage it throughout the project duration.
• Delegate tasks to appropriate specialists and verify their completion.
• Establish communication and build relationships with public authorities.
• Conduct financial and technological analyses of renewable energy projects and select the most optimal solutions. Coordinate the project both financially and operationally by identifying all necessary stakeholders (considering their diverse interests) and involving them in the project, including contractors, subcontractors, landowners, DSOs, etc.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• At least 4 years of experience in project management, specifically in renewable projects.
• Knowledge of the development process, including the rules for obtaining all necessary decisions and legislation.
• Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage non-standard situations effectively.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating proactivity, ownership, and a strategic approach to identifying and seizing opportunities.
• Proficiency in using QGIS.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to express thoughts clearly and accurately, and provide necessary, accurate, and well-processed information.
• Ability to read drawings, diagrams, and other design documentation.
• Ability to respond appropriately to emerging problems and solve them.
• Active interest in technological innovation and a drive for improvement.
• Meticulous, precise, and systematic.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
